The over- the- knee or thigh- high boots have been a hit since 2009 on runway shows. And I have no surprise that this is one of the footwear trend now. This type of boots is the perfect transition shoe between winter and spring or between summer and autumn. With the unstable UK weather, over- the- knee boots work for every british woman’s ensembles for all times. When come to styling the boots, Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman is what I associated with. If wear it properly, it looks more like street-style’r’ than street walker.
This is how I style mine:
Why we love it: All time accessories under the weather like Britain. There are also lots of different ways to make your outfits look cool and never out of trend. For example, brown riding boots would be nice to go with skirt and blazer for work or skinny jeans and a chuck sweater for brunch or day time look. Wear the classic black over- the- knee boot with A- line dresses or pencil skirt for work or leggings on the weekend.
How to style it: Over- the- knee or thigh high boots are such a statement piece to accessorise your outfits. Keep everything else in your ensemble e.g. make- up moderated. Balance the look with subtle smokey eyes and costume accessories competing for the attention. These boots are sexy any way you style them.
The pink trend has been proving pretty popular since AW13 and there is no exception for this season. The pink fashion is totally fascinating us everywhere from designers to Primark, Marks&Spencers and Topshop. With the Feburary- March typical English weather, I believe a piece of pink is not only helping us to brighten up our wardrobe but also boosting our mood to welcome the upcoming Spring weather.
I have some ideas on how to styling the pink trend for this season and would like to share it with you here.
These Asos and French Connection pastel pink coat are my favourites. I will wear ankle white jeans or black leather skinny trousers, also with a pair of gold colour slip on to go with these pink coat for my winter to spring look.
If pink coat is not your thing or feeling embarrass when wearing pink coat and everyone stared on tube. Pink jumper would tone down a bit of the excitement. These pink jumpers are lovely to go with floral trousers, floral print is one of the hot trend for spring and summer, like what Chiara Ferragni wore. Alternatively, the pink jumper will also go chic with white mid-length skirt with mid-heels or trainers.
I been looking for a pair of Chanel Espadrilles since february, unfortunately, there is nothing available online and Im living so far away from all the big city with concession/store selling chanel so I have no choice but went to manchester 2 weeks ago for a pair of chanel espadrilles. The thing is, there is no million ways that I would be able to fit in a tiny last pair of size 2 and the next production of a pair of espadrilles would be next season which means that SS13 espadrilles has stopped production already!!
Until Last week, I found this pair of gorgeous Tory Burch denim Espadrilles from http://www.toryburch.com online, I love purchasing from Tory Burch official website, good service and free shipping, which are our bloggers and online shoppers needed when shopping online. Now I just need a pair of two tone jeans from Zara to finish the look:))
