New Season Fashion Update

Despite party seasons are coming up, the temperature dropped magically this week, therefore I been thinking about what styles and clothes shall I get for this pre-party season.

Rock Chick – a rock chic style is what every girl wants in their wardrobe and this season rock chic is very 1960s inspired. No more t-shirts and skinny jeans but more of micro hemline dresses or skirts with opaque tights and over knee boots. The Saint Laurant girls has been showing us how to be a rock chick for AW14.

Sophisticated LadyLike- A grown up and groomed look is what every office lady trying to create in the morning before they get out from their room and rush in the office. Block heels, long skirt and silk shirts are what we need in order to create this look. Celine has been presenting A-line long skirt with a sexy spilt, very 1940s style in AW14 runway. The 1940s sophisticated long skirt style is hugely influenced in our ladylike look of AW 2014, try shades of camel, mustard and burgundy to create such grown-up look like the Celine girls.

Boho- Within a wide range of fashion styles, I love Boho style. To create a Boho look, its always about  to create a cool-girl like style, fur coat with a silk dress in a graphic or plant print are what we need to get this look work in this season. I believe I will be able to get a lot of ideas of this look from the Chole runway show for AW14.

M'oda 'Operandi Launch

The Minimalism- I like the norm core trend for this season, this style is very easy to create and no fussy at all. A slim-cut tailoring trouser suit and a pair of loafers or brogues are what we want to have, in order to, produce the girl meets the boy look.

Orange is the new black

As we had seen a lot of pink and green colour at Dior and Balenciaga in Paris for Fall 2014, orange is also one of the popular colour for currently colour therapy trend among other rainbow colours, especially when the orange satin linen gilet has had appeared at the Dior show in Paris for Spring 2015.

This orange dress was one of my bargain treasures from Topshop in summer sale. This is actually an evening dress but I like to make it as my everyday wear so I mix it with my everyday wardrobe by wearing it with a jumper and trainers. Now I can wear such outfit to anywhere I like, not just for an evening do:))

Topshop FROW

I spotted this leopard print skirt from Alexa Chung when she was watching the Topshop Unique fashion show on the front row. Fortunately, my size was still available before it has had sold out. (Don’t worry!! more stocks are coming back!!)

I really like the texture of this skirt, its like pony hair mix with faux fur leather, and it does keep my thighs warm. This is a very short skirt, your underwear will be seen when you bend down, on a bright side, this is a great length to wear over knee boots for fall and winter.

With the outstanding print of this skirt, simply a black top is already enough to match an outfit. Great skirt to wear black opaque tight when the weather is turning cooler. Pastel colour top like what Alexa Chung is wearing, will add some vibe in the outfit.Minis_BlogTile

The only disadvantage of this skirt is that might not be suitable for someone who had board bottom because the A-lined shape of this skirt is not as A-lined shape as it looked.
